Panel on Youth Sports Related Brain Injuries at November 1 Discovery Dinner

CHICAGO – OCTOBER 25, 2010 The Brain Research Foundation today announced plans to host an expert panel on the topic of potential long-term brain injuries among youth in sports. “Academia, the sports industry and youth sports are fast coming to the realization that the effects of sports-related head trauma are more complex and far reaching than we knew,” said Terre Sharma, Ph.D, Executive Director of the Brain Research Foundation. “We believe that research in the field can be greatly expanded to determine what is required to protect our children.” Click here to read more.
